Information we collect

We collect account details such as your name, email address and phone number. We also collect company details such as your CR number, VAT number, address, bank account names and IBANs.

• Bank alert emails you choose to forward to CFO
• Support and billing information

How we use information

We use this information to provide CFO, send documents and reminders on your behalf, identify and match payments where possible, generate summaries, provide support and manage billing.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate CFO. These include Supabase for cloud hosting and database services, Resend for email delivery, Anthropic for AI text processing used to create and read documents, and Lovable for application hosting. These providers process information only to deliver their services to us and under their own security and privacy commitments.

Where information is stored

Information is currently stored and processed outside Bahrain. By using CFO, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries where our service providers operate.

How long we keep information

We keep information for the life of your account and for 90 days after the account closes. We then delete it, unless we must keep specific records to meet a legal obligation. You can export your information at any time and ask us to delete it.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, separate each company's data, protect accounts with password authentication and email reset, and log access and activity. No online service can remove every risk, but we use reasonable safeguards and review them as CFO develops.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, export or delete your information. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and you may make a complaint to the relevant authority. Some requests may be limited where the law requires us to keep information.
